Fall is upon us, but that doesn’t stop the hunger for Seedy Nutty. Since 2015 we have built a great following at the Crossroads Community Farmers Market each Wednesday at the intersection of University Blvd and Anne Streets, in Takoma Park, MD. Crossroads remains open from 11-3pm through mid-November. This Wednesday promises summer like weather.
After a year in business, we also have added wholesale clients and online orders that are sure keep our ovens baking year-round. We are pleased that the American Film Institute in Silver Spring and Whole Foods Market at Pentagon City Mall in Virginia have continued to reorder Seedy Nutty for their customers.
Seedy Nutty on a family trip to Israel in 2011. It wasn't until she wrote an article about the Crossroads Community Farmers Market, that she realized that she could make a go of the business and set up a stand in September 2015. You can meet Rosanne at the market most Wednesdays from May through November.
In her other life Rosanne is a freelance writer and was a long-time science and environmental reporter for Voice of America.
She is currently a fellow with GreenFaith, a coalition of faith communities worldwide that have come together to advocate for action on climate change.
