The Seedy Nutty Company greets 2016 with great plans for expansion into the commercial marketplace. Join us on Saturday January 16, from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Future Harvest Local Fare Fair, a food festival that in addition to Seedy Nutty, Original, Chocolate and Crumbles, you can sample some of the region’s finest cheeses, wines, ciders and chocolates. Look for Seedy Nutty at the Crossroads Community Food Network exhibit. The Future Harvest event comes at the end of the Future Harvest 2016 Cultivate the Chesapeake Chesapeake Foodshed conference. Future Harvest Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture provides education, networking and advocacy to help build a sustainable Chesapeake foodshed. Seedy Nutty on a family trip to Israel in 2011. It wasn't until she wrote an article about the Crossroads Community Farmers Market, that she realized that she could make a go of the business and set up a stand in September 2015. You can meet Rosanne at the market most Wednesdays from May through November.
In her other life Rosanne is a freelance writer and was a long-time science and environmental reporter for Voice of America.
She is currently a fellow with GreenFaith, a coalition of faith communities worldwide that have come together to advocate for action on climate change.
